Custom Builds - Your Car, Our Craft
If you are restoring a classic or updating an interior, you are likely left with original leather or vinyl.
Don't scrap it. Send it to the studio. For over a decade, we have been working with decades-old, patinated automotive upholstery. Through our custom build process, you can send us your materials, and we will handcraft them into one of our proven, road-tested bag designs. It is a straightforward, maker-to-driver process:
1. Tell us what you have
Send us a quick message with a photo of your leftover material (leather, vinyl, or heavy textiles) and rough dimensions of what you have available.
2. Pick your pattern
Browse the Zeitworks site and choose the style you want—whether that is a Weekender, a Laptop Bag, or a batch of Billfold Wallets. We use our established, refined patterns to ensure the proportions and durability are perfect.
3. Ship it to the studio
Box up the material and ship it to our workshop in Snow Road Station, Ontario.
4. The Build
Once it arrives on the cutting table, we get to work. We pair your vintage material with our heavy-duty hardware, structural liners, and precise stitching to turn your old seats into a daily-use piece of gear.
5. Ready for the road
We ship the finished bag back to you, complete with a chassis plate detailing the make and year of your car.
For Restoration Shops
If you run a restoration house, those discarded original interiors can be turned into a unique handover gift for your clients. Send us the salvageable off-cuts from your builds, pick a design from our lineup, and we will supply you with matching, custom-built bags to hand over with the keys.
